Processes crontab files and try to catch common errors.

Parse crontab files and check each type of line for potential syntax errors.
Each line is classified as: comment / blank, variable assignment, standard
action line, @ extention action line, an unknown line.

Nothing is done for comment / blank lines.

Variable assignments are checked to make sure there's not a $ on the
