Returns the complex conjugate of `x`, `\overline{x}`. Unlike
``x.conjugate()``, :func:`~mpmath.im` converts `x` to a mpmath number::

    >>> conj(3)
    mpf('3.0')
    >>> conj(-1+4j)
    mpc(real='-1.0', imag='-4.0')
